I am sorry..!!
These were the three magical words which were used to either maintain a good relation with our loved ones or to break the same; or I could say it was used to be that way. It is also said when we hear something about someone’s loss. But we are not going to discuss about that, I am sure I don’t need to explain it because it is pretty much obvious.
So, as always let me ask you, did you ever apologize to someone for a sinful mistake and repeated it more than twice, maybe? Because you know that the person will anyways forgive you not because they want to, but they love you enough to forget about it and give it a fresh start. I bet you have.
By creating such situations you are not only playing with their heart but also you are making them realize not to trust even your loved ones. Apologising somebody needs lots of courage and it requires guts to admit a mistake.
There was a time when people meant and were truly sorry for what they have done, but now it’s more like a free pass to do it again and again until and unless the person completely breaks down and never ever willingly gets up and trusts their loved ones again!
Be the one who forgives people,
Not the one who demands that forgiveness.
